Happy Birthday!!!

To my lovely hubby :) Unfortunately his birthday plans didn't go ahead. We had planned a bbq on Saturday to celebrate and also to watch the Grand Final.... BUT the weather was so crappy on Friday (and we don't have an outdoor enteraining area) AND when I got home from a quick shop at Deb's Friday night Cody started vomiting every 30-50 mins for the next 12 hours!!! So we had to cancel.... then this morning Jai threw up just once, so I warned all the family that were supposed to be calling in for afternoon tea. In the end only my Mum & Dad were brave enough to come lol so we have LOADS of cake and stuff left over.... Jai has been fine all day so I don't know what happened this morning. Oh well, hopefully poor Bryce has a better birthday next year!

Its a girl!!!

My friend and fellow scrapper Rachel had her baby this morning, 3 weeks early. And guess what, its a girl! She has 8 grand kids in her family and they are all boys, so this is great news for them AND she now gets to scrap GIRLY pages, I'm so jealous!!!! Baby 'no name' (lol) arrived via VBAC with no drugs (well done Rach!) at 8:39am today weighing 6lb 5.5oz and was 42cm long. Mum and baby doing well, she just needs a name!

Where do you want to go today?

B took these photo's obviously at the train lines (on the Stony Point to Frankston line) one day while walking Paulie. I love the one of Cody in front of the tracks. B said "don't worry, I made sure there were no trains coming first" Well great! lol It's nice to get away from the blue's for boy pages once in a while.

Out for lunch

Last Tuesday we went for a drive to Kilcunda pub for lunch, its right across the road from the beach, so we went and had a bit of a play. Here are the LO from those pics. "Ten things we love about you" was a cool kit I did from Aussie Scrap Source.

Retreat weekend

Last month I went on a scrap weekend held by D & S Scrapbooking Retreats. Unlike all the other girls Rach and I came home to sleep lol, we would have missed our kids too much otherwise (they are only littlies) but anyway, we still had a fantastic time. Excellent venue, loads of great food and lots of laughs. I managed to do 5 LO. "Friends" which I have already posted below. "Get ready to wiggle" and "C is for Cody".

Supplies used: Wiggles licensed paper. Chipboard - Buzz & Bloom swirls inked in Versa Color; boysenberry, rose red, indigo & yellow.Dimensional Magic. Lettering - Black chipboard stick ons. Red glitter.

Updating soon

I have lots of layouts to post, but haven't had time to sit here and do them yet!! I scrapped last night and finished off what I started at Friday night's crop and all so last Saturday's crop. I actually did some journalling, hidden, but journalling all the same! I am very proud of myself. I have decided I am going to try and journal on all my LO now, it's much better to have a story along with your photo's. I must at the very least remember to date them all from now on! Hopefully I will get around to uploading some photo's tonight.

My first ever layout

I took a beginners class with Will at Paper Doll Scrapbook Boutique sometime in 2005. I had just been bitten by the bug (and was all set to become totally addicted) when I fell pregnant with Jai. I was of course, feeling like utter crap, and therefore scrapbooking or doing much of anything was the last thing on my mind. I took it up again at the beginning of this year. Anyway, this is the layout I made in that class. You will notice there is no journalling, I have pretty much followed that trend ever since...

Introduction

So I thought I would I would join the masses (lol) and start blogging. I don't really have much to say as such, but I wanted somewhere to share my layouts. I have only been scrapping for about a year or two, so I'm still very much a beginner. I wish I could do it more often, but I'm limited to how much time hubby will have the kids ;)
